Invention is response to demonstrated necessity. Pre-sumptive inventions rarely work. They are often too early. Inventions are invented based on seeing a problem, and done very quickly. However, it is possible to invent new business, and build new relationships. That is the need. Your invention rarely engenders YOUR business, even for Thomas Edison.
